lisa and i had both forgotten what an alarmingly precious movie breakfast at tiffany's is. can i have audrey? can i be audrey? wait... those might be mutually exclusive, dammit. but can you not be in love with her? and this movie. oh this movie.

oh, and look at my audrey icon!

"well, could we just have something engraved?"
"the problem with that being that you would more or less have to buy something first for the engraving to be put on."

hahahahahahaha.

Haa! I'm not the only one then. I've been wondering what heck "GIP" means for weeks now, but haven't asked for the fear of appearing more stupid that I really am. It's probably something self-evident that I should have been able to figure out on my own.

SEE IT. For me, okay? It's...it's so wonderful. And Gregory Peck is absolutely precious. Audrey as a princess. With loooong lovely hair. It's wonderful.

you mean, like when someone says "I've been gipped"? It means "been ripped off". Say the LOTR DVD comes out, and Blockbuster Videos charges $40 to buy it. If you buy it at that price, you've been gipped. You've paid entirely too much for something you could have gotten at half the price or less. It's derogatory too, from what I understand, "gip" coming from "gypsy". Not a nice term.

no, that's not what i meant. it has something to do with lj icons. i'm just not sure what. ie, "this is a gip"--describing the posts that are just for the purpose of showing off a new icon.

oh. then I haven't a clue. *blushes* I don't even know how to make icons. I just cropped my pic until it was the right size! I only have MS Paint...

oh yes. i LOVE Audrey to death. we (by which I mean the Smiley gang) are in the process of downloading B'fast at Tiffany's because Jen and I love it soveryverymuch. not to mention that Chris has not seen this movie. The shame of it all... (side note: boyfriend has Audrey poster - figured that was a good sign when first met)
