Yesterday and the day before the BB, who has chronic kidney disease, did not eat anything except the junkfood they get fed at bedtime as a treat (about 3 tsp) and did not play by turning the house into an obstacle course to be completed 10 times in a row very fast while yodeling. Obviously something was wrong with her, so today I got the joy of taking her to a new, never-before-seen vet that's closer to our new house for the first time. She had an ultrasound and some fluids and she turned out to not have an intestinal blockage, so she has been sent home still high from her sedation.

This particular sedative apparently causes the munchies, and she's been extremely funny since she arrived home, slowly but determinedly stomping around, swaying slightly, wolfing every last molecule of food from Snookums's bowl. It is our hope that she will feel better after the sedative wears off because she also got some anti-emetics, but otherwise she might have to go have some blood tests tomorrow morning.
