moving day kind of

cimoreneThe electrician has been here a lot and we've got the internet cables and all the electricity minus a few kitchen circuits on our side now. But the stove isn't in, although the hookup where the electrician's going to attach it is. He's going to come back early next week for that because he's out of town today and tomorrow. The bathroom is still minus a washing machine hookup and a drain - and the water's still off. It's been that way a week and Wax had to call the contractor to get him to contact the plumber, who didn't give us contact info and also we don't know his entire name AND he didn't mention when he was gonna come back.
But tomorrow our tenant is gonna supposedly start moving big things with the help of her friend who has a van, so we gotta empty more stuff - move our bed, clothes, etc. We moved the bunnies last night, so that's the first time we've slept in a different room from them in over a year. (That was by accident, not by design, though. We aren't going to move them to our bedroom or anything.) They've got the long floofs so it's okay that it's currently 13°C in the livingroom. We need someone knowledgable to, like, adjust the radiators over here and make sure they all work. Last year the old plumbers (who can't find the time to come here no matter what, perhaps ever again?) said they had to get a spare part for some of them, but we don't know if they ever did. Also we have the stuff to make a fire in the woodstove though, which we should do.
Also I have a category 3 migraine, we both hurt all over from moving yesterday, Wax has to go back to work tomorrow, the hallway on the other side is covered with dust and we can't find the floor attachment to the vaccuum, I need to paint the hallway and bedroom on the other side as well, and I'm running out of insulin for Snookums and need to contact the vet for a refill today.
