moving nightmare continues and my feet hate it

We're exhausted and Wax is black and blue (I don't bruise as easily and she lifts more heavy things due to being way stronger than me), and Wax is now at work and our tenant is still coming today, and there's still lots to do, but we did get a lot done.

There's still a sofa and a folding futon frame on the other side that we have to disassemble in order to get them out of there and a desk and chair that are heavy/unwieldy, a few assorted bits of trash, and the ENTIRE kitchen and bathroom because we still don't have any plumbing here and haven't heard anything from a plumber or contractor about it.

Over here in our side of the house, there's stacks of boxes and objects and furniture everywhere but the essential bits are usable, minus the plumbing. I still have to paint two rooms and put up a wallpaper patch over on the rental side, but not today, since she's supposed to be moving some stuff in today.

That is appreciated in my calmer moments. And at the least it helps motivate me to chronicle what's happened.

😭 It's starting to be more and more understandable why people would ever take the risk of doing those insane DIY plumbing hacks that you see in clickbait articles and Home Inspection Nightmares. Probably they were driven to desperation by having hunted multiple plumbers for six months and finally gave up.
