Electricity + Water -
22 Oct 2020 11:38 am1. No sign of the plumber. He left a big tool here yesterday though, presumably by accident, but at least it probably means he will have to return soon? I hope? I REALLY hope Wax doesn't have to ask the contractor AGAIN.
2. The electrician came! He's been here all morning and has gone for his lunch now. He turned the circuit back on so the microwave works and was installing the outside lights and the light in the unconditioned walled-in porch (or farstun, or kvisti, as you would say here). This ALMOST makes the porch usable because we took a bunch of construction waste out of it yesterday! But fingers crossed that he comes back because we still have to shamefacedly ask him to hardwire the dining room light, which we thought we could do only it doesn't have a hanging hook but wants to be screwed directly to the ceiling so we don't know how to hang it. And more importantly, we still haven't installed the stove on our side yet, which we REALLY are looking forward to (though the microwave's better than nothing).
