down and flannel are a highly recommended combination though

Another issue is that we put the tartan flannel sheets on and I switched to the thick down duvet and now being in bed is the most luxurious and anxiety-soothing hug imaginable. The bedroom is just cool enough that the down duvet isn't too hot. This makes it REALLY REALLY HARD to get out of bed.
