Still thinking about this stunning look

One of the great things about my work is that my desk is positioned directly behind two massive picture windows taking up a whole wall which look out directly onto the single business street boasted by our postage-sized downtown, the intersection between the bank, the post office, and the massively popular jazz café, so the recipient of the most foot traffic of anywhere in downtown.

A couple of weeks ago a man walked in front of my window on a windy, sunshiny day at about freezing wearing a puffy jacket over a hoodie with the hood up under a knitted beanie under a black stetson with a bandana and sunglasses on the brim and a second pair of sunglasses on his face.

But: was he wearing shorts? Because that seems to be the dude look for low temperatures around here lately - hoodie, coat, hat, shorts.

No, although you can see inappropriate shorts in Finland, usually it's after all the snow piles have melted. Around spring equinox, or a little before.
