Right after I posted about the one she bought on Monday I walked into the kitchen and discovered another one. This third orchid is not a phalaenopsis like the others; it's an oncidium, also epiphytic (they grow on trees), but they require more sunlight and more water. Also we might need to take steps to keep it warm in the winter.
I fertilized it and gave it a soak today; tomorrow, with any luck, we'll repot it (Wax needs to buy some cherry tomatoes so we can use the plastic cup they come in as a pot. It's smaller than the others and I can't find transparent pots small enough anywhere in Finland, so we have to make one). Pictures and a nickname probably then.
