It's not hot in here, it's just me
21 Nov 2023 03:08 pmI brought a thermometer to work yesterday to confirm my sense that it was very warm there. Actually it was about 21° C by my desk, or 70° F, which as Wax says is a perfectly normal indoor temperature. The air doesn't move really, as there are no fans or air circulation in the building, just radiators. But it's not particularly over-warm.
Of course when the sun is shining it gets warmer, but I still thought it was too hot when it was 21. Maybe it's perimenopause. I guess more headaches at my period and night sweats would be getting off lightly, if those were the only symptoms.
Also I'm just running a bit hotter by default now, when I was always cold when I was younger, but that one isn't all that inconvenient.

Date: 21 Nov 2023 04:25 pm (UTC)The classroom building where I worked for 15 years before I retired had a completely screwed up heating and air system that was never fixed and at the time I left it was still barely working. And my office had no window.
