11 Sep 2002 08:36 amcimoreneall the red white and blue out there today is freaking me out. also the people who, you know, are talking about everything that happened that day (over and over again), people not even directly affected who were terrorized to the point that their lives stood still, people who think the whole WORLD stood still, and maybe still is.
am just baffled. baffled. i'm not insensitive to tragedy, i'm not saying that it doesn't MATTER because it affected other people and not me. but i'm just not so terribly concerned. we've bombed the hell out of them by now, killed at least as many civilians as they have, and completely changed life for muslims all over the world but particularly in the USA for the worse. have we our revenge? yes. we have.
