point. went to the first year japanese class instead of second, where there's one guy who had four years of it in high school. sadly he's not much behind me; happily, his pronunciation is also smooth and natural (not to brag: like mine. i have a knack for it).

You know, I meant to comment on this earlier, because I've been told that licking your nails after you've painted them is a good way to determine whether they've dried yet - supposedly, you can only taste it when it's wet, and if you only touch the tip of your tongue to it very gently, it doesn't wreck the polish to check this way.

When my friend told me this, I swear my first thought was, "How incrediboly sexy." *grin* So now I'll have to fit it into the Angst!Fic somewhere, just for you.
