guinevere33 pointed me to. she had a pet imaginary tiger when she was young! i have a stuffed tiger in a box somewhere at home, named tigger, about half life-size, who used to take me for rides in the jungle and was the best friend of my cricket doll (you know, the ones that talk and roll their eyes with tape players in their backs) (i had the black one because blond and blue is SO BORING). he belonged to my daddy, who got him when he was five. now he's quite bald and is missing an ear and his embroidered eyes have worn off. he can still see, though.
