the lovely thing about a logic exam
11 Oct 2002 12:37 pm--is that the formal discipline of logic is just a very ritualized description of the way logic actually works. if you have the problem set, and you have a brain which is not too dusty with disuse, you can probably figure it out. having read most of the required reading helps even more. i finished a few minutes early, even. unfortunately real life can't work this way: you have all the pieces, you have a brain, et voila, you also have the correct answer. (then again, perhaps 'having all the pieces' is the rub.)
