touching things.
13 Mar 2002 07:50 amso, more 7:30 am pseudo-deep thoughts. you know how if you don't touch babies, their brains atrophy or something and they don't develop language and become insane? this is clearly proof that humans need to be touched, which brings me to why college is bad for me. the last person i touched was rm#1 a week and a half ago, when her boyfriend left and she was crying and i hugged her twice.
oh, no, wait, the scary Ovary!Nurse poked my stomach. but that hardly counts.
what if my brain atrophies?
maybe there should be some kind of hug-club. *worry worry*

Date: 13 Mar 2002 05:08 am (UTC)But I used to be in a netball team where all the players would stop for cigarette breaks every fifteen minutes.
Feared, we were.
Anyway. Um. Make friends with some hippies? Or goths? They seem to be fond of the amazingly huggly lifestyle.

Date: 13 Mar 2002 07:44 am (UTC)a hug in time saves nine; spare the hug, spoil the child; hug the needy; 'tis better to have hugged and lost than never to have hugged at all; for want of a hug, a life was lost; hug me, hug my child; when in doubt, hug; and countless others -- i don't believe i've heard a psa recently for the NAH (need a hug) Foundation, perhaps it's time the youth of this nation stepped forward to shed light on the plight of the underhugged. I can envision a national movement culminating in a free hug-in where huggers and huggees can freely express their needs right in the nations capitol. wow

Date: 13 Mar 2002 08:32 am (UTC)*inspiration strikes* you just need a guy friend to be your designated piece of furniture - you know, pillow, coat rack, device for leaning on, thing to hit when irked. works well! completely platonic! not available in stores! *giggles*
