still unreasoningly annoyed. no idea why. melodrama? melodrama annoys. people who disagree with me? also annoying. hm. maybe i should... eat a balanced diet or something. maybe i should go to finland nineteen days early. ::mope::

There's a lot of craptacular Holmes/Watson. I think the most frustrating thing is that (of the stuff I've read) many of the writers are very good, but the material just exceeds their grasp. (There are also some who suffer from Same Sex Scene Every Damn Time syndrome.)

Maybe it's just that sometimes noble failures are more frustrating than outright illiterate crap.
