I wonder if we composed a particularly well reasoned letter about the artistic merit of the effort. Maybe we could have him make a CD then sell the profits to charity, something really lefty. He's political enough it might work.

sex is used so often in our culture to sell things that just feed into the giant media-corporate-oil-buying-war-mongering MACHINE of culture.

what you need to do is start some sort of business...call it a global co-op of high-minded thinking. For $2.25/minute, you can hear a recording of Viggo reading some of the racier selections of Leaves of Grass. For $5.00/minute, you can hear him reading erotica, and for a flat $100, you get three minutes of Viggo reading LotR RPS. All monies collected going to pro-peace organizations, and possibly something anti-NRA, of course.
