Cimorene

Oh dear. I found this story while trawling the web for some good Legolas and Gimli. I don't mean to do the scary stalker thing and just pop up at you from out of nowhere, but... pop. Damn. I've read "Promise" before, as well as some of your LOTR RPS, and I couldn't *not* let you know how much I really loved this story. I love the darkness, the clear and distinct moods, and the spot on characterization (or at least to me what seems like spot on, can't speak for what that old British guy intended! XD).

I particularly adored the part with Legolas pondering over the crystal flower. I want to have that scene's babies. There are so few intelligently written pieces of fanfic in the world at all, let alone Legolas/Gimli ones, and I just want to thank you for this effort (and hope that Magneto/Xavier doesn't pull your ambition away from writing another story in this pairing, tempting as the fine gents are). There are so many bits to this piece- grabs of sentences, images, paragraphs- that listing them all would be pointless. But. THANK YOU.

And on behalf of Legolas' much besieged aggressive sexual nature, thank you. Dude, the pretty boy finally got some! ;P
