cimoreneright now i have no patience for navigating finnish computers, and as the pros is on in half an hour, i will not attempt to touch aim witha ten foot pole.
so daddy drove me to the atlanta airport, where the check-in occurred amongst emigrating hordes of costa ricans and vietnamese, apparently. the girl in line in front of us (1) looked like my8thgrade exchange student anneth and (2) was really hot, so i kept staring. bags were heavy. flight to brussels was long and i had traded with a guy so hecould sit next to his toddler. was sandwiched between rude french woman and someone reading three self-help books at once. uncomfortable. long nightmarishstretches of fitful dozing. 8 hours. brussels quite impressed me, although the bars scattered through the terminal seemed more out of place in this giant steel and glass... tube... thanin your average pittsburgh or atlanta or charlotte. and i did not know to check in again and when the guy at immigration askedifmy trip was for 'pleasure' i'm afraid i made a bit ofa funny face.
wax's spacebar is wonked, andhaving ttt mixed in with her regular playlist is a bit surreal. the space bar cuts my typing speed down to probably below 40 wpm--LESS than half.
retrieved at airport in timely fashion by wax+brother, and we drove home in a snow storm, i believe. oddly enough, my bag came through immediately, no waiting. i am not certain that has ever before occurred in the history of air travel. met mece's cats and his wife, rented chain of fools, ate a french dinner on wax's mom. carried bed downstairs to place next to wax's. this is for the benefit of granny. (damn. making my bed for a whole month?)
