Well that was a nice initiation being my first H/D after reading the books (second total). Thanks for the rec, as I am far away from that fandom.

it's kind of meta-ish, i think, because of using so many of the things you find in your average non-self-aware h/d. am not sure if it's such a good introduction to the fandom. otoh, even if it's slightly parodic, it's a good representative of the common themes and stuff. :)
