i should have told my stupid parents it was daylight savings (not that i would ever remember without edit: without LIVEJOURNAL)--the day started very ominously because they forgot and were thus too late for church, which forced me to live with them in the house for several extra hours, AND to watch one and a half episodes of six feet under with my mom. putting up with her commentary is hard, but i think all is more or less well now. except that it's damp and stuffy inside the house. hello, summer. i must resign myself to this. anyway, the fact that she was amused means we can rent the rest of the season sooner, like when dad gets back from retrieving lillian's friend.

dad: she did it! (claire, the house across the street)
mom: i HOPE not!
claire: [evil face]

this is why my mom should not be allowed to have opinions about politics; the headaches i incur trying not to say anything are going to age me prematurely.
