cimorenethe old computer--purchased in 97--is shutting down slowly or frozen or something, and as it does this it is showing first one wallpaper and then the other, so mom thinks i 'did something to it' by changing the wallpaper (which i did last week).
mom: i think you DID do something, because it worked YESTERDAY.
when 5 year old computer whose hard drive is all the way full is moving slowly, most of us restart before anything else, but instead, mom looks immediately to her left, and blames whatever she sees for what's going on (that's one method). i think she thinks that i, in my computer ignorance and wallpaper-meddling arrogance, accidentally flipped a switch from 'do things' to 'ignore all commands' while in the display section of the control panel.
