I added you to my friends list because I love your writing and your mood icons rock (is there anything cooler than the original Star Trek?). I hope you don't mind. Doors can be creaky that way -- mine sometimes swings open from the wind if I forget to shut it all the way.

i have to say it's my one true fandom. you don't see that kind of vigor and vitality in many television or movie canons. it's all so... larger than life, and there are so many archetypes and references to things, so many symbols, that it becomes just incredibly powerful. a good amount of the fan fiction can't do it justice, but that barely takes away from the enjoyment. it's all there in the imagination!
