where has the summer gone?

i just realized the whole summer has been swallowed by daddy's accident. it happened may 13 and now it is almost AUGUST 13. it's like it's all been a dream and i've been struggling the whole time to properly wake up. you know, i've never expressed it quite that way, but that is how i feel about it.

I know exactly how you feel. My dad spent a summer in a coma when he had his first heart attack a few years ago. It's the strangest sort of limbo imaginable.
