woke up in a good mood--despite that i was woken first by the dog whuffing, then by the contractor following him down the hall to my room. i was lying in bed on my back, lights still out, still mostly asleep. 'oh,' said the contractor blankly, 'i thought no one was here.' i just smiled woozily and called the dog. but we had to have a conversation nonetheless, which i don't remember anymore. yeah, that was great fun. well, the doorbell rang, the house inspectors are all here, i hopped up and into my extremely expensive designer denim skirt and made myself a bagel (which i've not yet eaten) and a cup of chamomile tea, and sought out the internet.

wax_jism was writing a dark harbour story: ~~norman~~ nameless young man/~~alan rickman~~ david something. but it's gotten stalled and she's given up and moved onto a crossover between everwood and floating--norman the elder now, paired with this skinny 19-yo kid who looks eerily like the enchanting moi, aka the star of everwood and her new crush. but, bugger, SOMEONE write me alan.
