i'm glad you're cheered and sorry i'm so horrible at getting around to writing feedback :). you happened to produce something that was incredibly delightful both to my more detached observation (nearly flawless, even down to characterization) and to and my personal preference (for the serious end of complying with canon in mood, plus first-time happy endings with high tension and/or angst at the beginning). you can't imagine how happy i was to find this story after two years of reading harry/snape and looking for a *really* satisfying story and never finding one i couldn't quibble with at all.
