hahah. little sister is adorable. seriously. she's SO afraid of miss spider. it's not cute when i don't want to go outside myself, but in retrospect it's amusing. she scrubbed a bunch of disgusting cat messes off the floor, at her own suggestion, to bribe me into feeding her bunnies for her. heh.

speaking of this song, read a legolas/gimli fic called 'total eclipse' set to it a few days ago--okay, well, i didn't READ it, because when i saw that the first two paragraphs were just the italicized lyrics of the first two verses of this song, i got massive cognitive dissonance, as tolkien and cheesy 80s dance music don't mesh well in my brain. i mean, the fuck? in WHOSE brain DO they mesh?
