next time i try to stay up this late somebody slap me please.

i dreamt that i met leonard nimoy. i knew i was going to meet him because he was speaking at some kind of convention-meeting i was at, but i think they weren't expecting many big trek fans to be there. and i was all eee and nervous! and trying to figure out what to say, composing it in my head over and over again and i'd nearly talked myself out of it, but then i found myself near him and i introduced myself anyway. now i can't remember what it was i said--something rather stupid, but he was quite nice about it.

in i am spock there's a bit where he says someone asks him whether he knew he was the material for the sexual fantasies of thousands of women. apparently spock was the biggest draw when tos hit its first surge of popularity--by far. and spock's popularity with girls was way up there. i suppose i'm not extremely surprised, as i belong, in a latter generation, to that group. but i just didn't realize that that was--the majority. before.

It's cos Spock is hot, yo.

I'd want to be around when he went into his crazy Vulcan-mating mode.

But I'd probably have to be Vulcan. Darn.

I wonder how those women reacted when they found out Spock was *gasp* married...

spock? he wasn't entirely married, since the wedding was still called off, despite having referred to t'pring as his 'wife.'

no, i don't think you'd have to be vulcan.
