uh, does anyone write bds fic that's straightforward and/or graphic and NOT pretentious?

ahahah. i don't feel that sleepy, but my eyes are starting to need three blinks to re-establish focus every now and then. dammit, i'm reading and maybe this one isn't pretentious!

don't use 'reason why' in fic unless your narrator needs some kind of local color. it's a homicidal-rage-inducingly irritating tic.

You know, I'm sort of surprised that you'd find that fic pretentious. The style isn't actually that far distant from yours, and I think I might actually have been reading some of your stuff around that period of time since I was chatting with Wax.

Ahahaha. I'm guessing the other ones are then, right? *is genuinely curious about this* I've been told my writing style is a lot of things, but pretentious isn't actually one of them.

mm, i didn't mean you specifically, believe it or not, but the fandom. but i would say it was the most remarkable thing about the fandom. the thing that, as it were, jumped up and bit me about it. perhaps your readership and i don't agree about what pretentious is.
