i keep reading this shit. i can't look away. if you read that one, and i tell you it's one of the best i've read, you may experience a small part of my terrified and mesmerized horror. some of it, somewhere, has to be good, right?

eta, on reflection: the story isn't, like, objectively abysmal. it's just that jay and silent bob=angst just... doesn't compute. and then i find the angst overdone, on top of that. silent bob is NOT a girl. at least... if he is, i don't want to read about it.

ahem. yeah, it wasn't TERRIBLE, but the angst just does not match with the jay and silent bob bit. like.... where did they go? they returned a little at the end, there....

yes. that's my feeling. i want some GOOD jay and silent bob, dammit. not like a huge craving, but it's pissing me off that people seem to be so unclear on the concept. how hard is it? C-O-M-E-D-Y. it's based on a comedy movie, and involves comedic characters. do you think maybe it should be FUNNY? ::tears hair::

funny is hard, though. angst is easy. any person who's been a teenager knows angst. i have a really hard time writing funny.... which is probably why i doubt i would write a jay and silent bob story. ^_^
