how do you make dvd caps using the computer? can you do it without a special program? it was my understanding that printscrn doesn't work--can you not use windvd?

InterVideo WinDVD 4 is what I use, and it has a screencap option.

That's what I use too. It's excellent, and I never could figure out how to get any other program to do screencaps.

Supposedly PowerDVD does it. I still haven't figured out how, though.

Just hit 'C' and it will make a cap. It will presumably put the cap in My Pictures or something like that. It's a bit complicated to find out how to change the destination and the format and such of the caps, though. I couldn't tell you anymore because I just did it once by accident and I'm happy now. ;) Also if you find out how, you can make it do the cap as you see it on screen or, um, in some other way that looked dumb so I didn't use it. I should imagine all this would be in the 'options' thingy, which may or may not be ctrl-o.
