geeking out over costumes

we're going to scarborough faire, a large renaissance festival outside of dallas, in late april (tentatively, 23-24). so i get to make COSTUMES for everybody! it turns out jenny's friend ursula has a sewing machine we can borrow. perrin's going to get a sort of pageboy smock. jenny has to have a blouse she can nurse in. we'll see about me and taumas. i'm toying with the idea of dressing as a boy too. i mean, i wouldn't have to actually make pants. just a cool blouse. or maybe--it'll be really hot, possibly. i could make some kinda fanciful fairy thing.

We have that Ren Fair in Tampa, Florida too. I just couldn't get anyone to come with me. I'm so envious that you get to go! *pout* And you get to make customs! *double pout*

the problem is i don't have any boots. maybe those gathered-cuff pants with sandals. peasant, y'know, not nobleman.
