examen day

well. i slept extremely well in thomas's room. this is like a room out of a book. or a hilary duff movie. the middle of it is full of a door propped on the windowsill and a chair and one whole wall is full of beds. with, like, lime green and bright pink. there are pink feathers on the window and pink sequins on the monitor and pink foil on the door (table) and a lime plastic chair shaped like a UFO which is pretty comfortable, actually, if you have no hipbones. and thomas is sort of awe-inspiringly nice to have me sleep here since i don't know him. and you all know i couldn't sleep at granny's. i finished the book! last night. but i feel less worried about finishing it now than i did before because i've realized (no one told me before) that i'm applying in the poli sci category of the faculty (sociology is part of poli sci now, not the other way around?) and the econ is just the other big part of the department. probably it's less of the exam. and if i fail it's way too late to do anything about this now.

thomas looks a little like jason lee (mallrats) and a little like james marsters, but smaller and thinner. the comma's in the wrong place on the finnish keyboard and so is the semi-colon and the dash and the apostrophe. which is why my sentences are light on those commodities.

(oh god, i sound like an economist.)

i was getting ready to leave, and walk about looking for food, but then wax called and she's coming in half an hour or so, so i have more time to kill. also he's awake and getting dressed so i can use his computer. whoot.

i had another mad anxious-depressed period last night, more anxious than depressed, and once again it's gone with the day. does this worry anybody else? i'm not used to it. what's going on?

i actually don't use s2, i use the paid account option of writing your own code. however, some of the s2 styles allow customization and some do not. i customized danglypartsiple and cimness with it. when you finish picking the colors there's a [customize] link at the bottom of the page. you click that and there are three tabs. then one of them says 'text,' and if it's gonna let you change it there are boxes where you can enter an override for all the things you can override laid out separately. you tick the 'override' button first, then the field turns white and you type in it.
