and, no, i was impressed with the PoA movie. i just didn't love it as unreservedly as many people do. and i don't like thewpin. but that has no effect on my overall waaaaaaaaaaaah feelings about s/r.

oh, yeah.

i didn't like thewlis as lupin until i SAW it.

and now i think it's perfect. he's totally different from how i used to picture him--but i love him. i'm not saying that i love my original, dougray-scott version of lupin any less (and here i'm referring to how i heard his voice, his facial expressions, even details of his characterization); i just fell violently and unexpectedly in love with this one. and i can't picture my oldman!sirius with anyone else, and really, i don't want to.
