staring at these same four walls alone again

here i am again, awake four hours after that last dose of cough syrup.  i'm foreseeing a not-fun couple of days.  and if every dose of cough syrup makes me sleepy enough for a nap i'm not going to be able to sleep at all when i'm off it.
