my hair looks really stupid, but i've made fluffy golden flaky biscuits which will be coming out of the oven in approximately one minute.  and last week i made pancakes.  i feel as cool as my own mom.  it's amazing how easy it is to feel that way, actually, since she can do all kinds of things i can't, like build walls and furniture and fix plumbing.  but i know i have it in me, at least!
