1. Tell me something obvious about yourself.
Er. My middle name is Elaine? That's pretty freaking obvious.

Elaine is also my mother's middle name. If I ever have a daughter, it will be hers as well, although my chances of actually having children are slim to none.

3. What is your biggest fear?
My irrational phobia is of vomiting, but my biggest intangible fear is of discovering that I'm the only person who actually exists.

4. Do you normally take the safe route or the shortcut?
Safe route all the way, unless I'm 100% certain the shortcut will work.

5. What is the one thing you want the most that you can't buy with money?
I guess the standard answer to this is love, but I'd kinda like to have a penis, myself. A working, biological penis. Which isn't to say that I want to be a man, because I don't, I just think it'd be fun to have a penis for a while. Maybe it could be detachable. Of course, I'd wind up losing it, so I'd need one of those clap-triggered beeping devices for it, which money CAN buy. Yeah, this is bordering on the absurd now.

6. What is your most treasured possession?
I don't really have any treasured possessions. I don't think I have anything that I consider irreplaceable, although I guess my most functionally important possessions are my car and my computer.

7. What is the one thing you hate most about yourself that you do the most often?
I have a tendency to be apathetic and lazy about important things. Even when I know how absolutely vital some menial task-- taking a midterm, for example-- may be, I approach it with a hit-or-miss attitude. Either I do it or I don't, and it is half-assed more often than not.

8. Tell me something about you sexually that I don't know.
I had sex in a car once, and it wasn't that great. In fact, it was bad. I had to straddle him in the driver's seat, and the seatbelt thing kept digging into my knees. I had giant bruises on them for days.

9. Tell me something about you sexually that everybody knows.
I'm inable (unable?) to orgasm from penetrative sex.

10. What is your favorite lie to tell?
If I told you, everyone would KNOW it was a lie. I do have a dash of compulsive liar in me, though, although I never lie about anything of importance. I was really bad about it when I was a kid-- it seemed to mostly go away in adolescence-- and I'd constantly lie about really stupid little things. Like what I had for lunch.

11. Name something you have done once that you can't wait to do again.
Making out with someone of the female persuasion.

12. Are you the jealous type?
Absolutely, although I think I do a pretty good job of not showing it. I can't control my jealosy, but I know how to keep it from controlling my actions.

13. What is the 1 person, place or thing that you can never say no to?
Starbucks. I cant say no to the prospect of a mocha frappuccino. I will never forgive my roommate for introducing me to them.

14. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
This is hard. Obviously my family and friends have all done nice things for me. Maybe the randomest nice thing was when Aaron bought me flowers because I was having a bad day, and we weren't even dating yet at the time.

15. If you could do something crazy right now, what would it be?
I would run all the way across campus and attack Onye, who is probably asleep, and ravish him. Probably not the thing to do since we've only been on two dates, but I've never been good at that self-control thing.

16. When was the last time you cried?
I don't remember. Wait, yes, I do. But it is kinda stupid, heh. I cried while reading the lyrics to One More Time, which many fans think is going to be the last song on Eminem's last album. Shh, I didn't cry because a stupid music artist is retiring, okay? I mean, I did, but don't tell anyone. And don't laugh!

17. When was the last time you felt so good that nothing else mattered?
This time last year I was so happy to be on my own for the first time. That joy of independence seemed to eclipse everything else happening in my life.

18. Do you feel comfortable in public with no shirt on?
Oh, hell no. Even if, you know, breasts weren't all taboo, I am not comfortable enough with my body for that. Not in a million years.

19. Name something embarrassing you did while drunk.
Would you believe me if I said I've never been drunk? Because I haven't.
