salt and vinegar chips

cimoreneoh god. i am having a HUGE unstoppable tremendous craving for salt and vinegar potato chips, which they don't even HAVE anywhere in finland.

is this a british flavor idea? somehow i get the idea that it is. could one achieve the affect by pouring, say, salad vinegar on a pile of potato chips and dousing it with salt? not that i have salad vinegar but it's at least obtainable.
my tongue is, like, TINGLING the way it does when you crave food. auuuuuuuuuugh.
