so, when
perhael and i discussed the unfortunate fact of my having to kill two hours on campus each thursday from now on (well--for six weeks), we agreed i should find the nearest computer room and write this afternoon. i actually wrote a bit of that [still gen] meantime fic this morning, but i felt the weight of homework and decided to try to do some of that first when i fortuitously hit on this place*.
on the plus side, there isn't THAT much more work than usual. i'm probably mainly feeling stressed from a) lack of sleep and b) great accumulation of that feeling of OMGNOTENOUGHTIME which actually originates from having lots of things you're dying to read, write and watch--and has nothing to do with schoolwork except as it infringes on your precious fandom pursuits.
on the minus side, i don't actually have time to start writing now that the bit (hahah bit. um, hour's worth) of vocabulary-checking i did is over with. and one of the things there is is a page of summarising, which i'm hoping to enjoy doing, but who knows what it will take to exhaust me in this state?
*except for the blackboards, and the windows, kind of creepily seems to me like it should be a basement club of some sort, not a computer lab. the walls are weird. paint them black, cover them with the evanescence-songfic equiv. of monochrome murals, and you're in the goth club where i first snuggled wax.
