cimoreneif you're interested, by the way, i made 114/124 on the swedish exam--a little over 90%, which is a pass with a mark of "excellent" in swedish finn terms. it was astonishingly short (i finished in about an hour and forty minutes) and really pretty easy. but i bet 8' tall german guy still had a better score.

Date: 29 Apr 2005 01:23 pm (UTC)like tuesday, ie the last day before the exam, she decided to waste half the period by talking about the traditional swedish finn mayday celebration that starts tomorrow. even though an exam was approaching. she hadn't even started the boring film yet, was just going round trying to get people to say what they had heard about it, so i had my folder open and was reading over notes for the exam and she said "cim, you could lay aside that grammar. because this is a tradition." i don't know if there even is any logic in that.
