+ nickngreg is a treasure trove of shitty icons as well as really pathetic fic.  but none as bad as this icon.  i thought i banned you from the internet, fucker!  this time, stay gone!

+ the layout on this odo/kira fic page is ALMOST as bad as the layout on the starsky & hutch archive.  remember the random seizure-inducing international flags, the ugly crying statue of liberty, the ugly pixel font, the menstruating dancing pink flamingo, and the pulsating hearts?  okay, well, there's no stupid blinking shit, but there's a barf pink background, some low-quality mottled images, some random reding of fonts, and some GIANT pink hearts'n'roses. glance at it and weep.

+ i want to see revenge of the sith, but i don't believe the people who are saying it didn't suck.

+ more to the point, after all the ds9 reading i've been doing i want to see some ds9.  but since i remember quite clearly how much i actually like it--ie not very much--i certainly don't want to spend money on it. it should be in reruns on finnish tv.  if only finnish tv worked that way.

well, i'm expecting to be grossed out and considering bringing a spork for my eyes. but... i feel like watching some swishing and swashbuckling and eeeevil and special effects.

otoh, maybe i should see kingdom of heaven instead--lower on the special effects but presumably also lower on the bad dialogue, plus for part of it liam neeson is alive.

I can't say that it's necessarily good, but it doesn't necessarily suck either. I didn't stagger from the theater the way I did after ATTACK OF THE CLONES feeling like I'd been mugged and my fandom stolen from me.
