cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (can he type?)

sooo today a cabal member who shall remain nameless because i forget who it was put up some links to archived pages of fandom_wank from before it started to suck when it was on blurty and lj. one of the oooold entries was a post of [livejournal.com profile] telesilla's linking to her ex's doctoral thesis on picard/q. so i read it. there was discussion of other star trek slash as well, and the end result was...

...i decided to browse around trekiverse.org . i ended up in the garak/bashir section, and what was the first thing i clicked on?

g&b, dukat, and odo get mysteriously transported... to the titanic.

i shit you not.

stand by for further updates.

Mahogany flames dancing in Julian's eyes met and matched the azure flames of Garak's. -aftermath

ahem. not really horrible, just silly: the one where julian complains about missing his teddy bear, so garak's all, "how about we sleep together instead?"

and what about the one where julian paints a naked portrait of garak? (in which garak belittles shakespeare, but is impressed by interview with the vampire) (and omg, now there's erotic licking of garak's dirty socks--you think i'm making this up, but i'm not: "I'm rubbing the sock against my nipples now Garak," he muttered raggedly. "I'm caressing them with it, one by one.")

ps i'm really craving oranges. why? the world may never know.

see, after i posted it, i was like, "wait, wasn't it her? but are [livejournal.com profile] meimi and [livejournal.com profile] neherenia really the same person? what if i'm wrong?" plus, i didn't want to delete my nifty struck-out text. you know, "neherenia" sounds kind of sinister, whereas "meimi" sounds like a particularly cute endearment. it's hard to trust my memory that they belong to the same person...

*blushes* That was a bit of a grudge wank, but honestly [livejournal.com profile] astarte59 takes herself and her fannish studies a little too seriously.

Also, was looking at your rec page a while back and was amused that you rec'd (with caveats that I utterly agree need to be there) some of the schmoopy P/Q I wrote with Varoneeka. Hee!

i really dig your (and her) ridiculous old p/q. and the other stuff at her page. it's so incredibly much fun. i often wish there were more of it.

and yeah, i thought a lot of her points were rather silly, but i learned stuff i didn't know too. ahhh i love john de lancie.

there's an in-depth discussion of louis and lestat as a metaphor for bashir and garak, too. it was deeeeeelicious.

Y'know, I actuall find that less plausible than the Marrissa stories in which the Next Gen characters play Sailor Moon on the holodeck.

what about garak as a pirate captain who decides to make Captain Julian Bashir of the British Navy his pleasure slave? (ok, so i didn't actually read that one.)
