i haven't read anything over on journalfen (other than some of the crystalwank when someone pointed me to the posthumous summary) since february. i used to read it every day.

pretty much everyone will understand that it was too much work wading through the unfunny and 'eh?' wanks from fandoms no one had ever heard of to get to the funny ones. wank was thin on the ground.

then i went there today to check out the new VB wank, and found very near the top the We Eat Our Own Wank! there's a closed leet community? there's a noob community? there's more grandstanding from sagralisse, and once again it's impossible to tell if she really means it, just wants the attention, or, in some twisted doublethink fashion, both? there's much seriousness and painful carefulness and disclaimers, and some stuff that could be legitimate defensiveness, or could be the lady protesting too much, from the accused leets (who aren't leets after all).

if the leet community settles down as a way to read just the funny and not the other stuff, i'm all for it. i guess i have to wait and see.
