cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (huh?)

04:42: wait a minute.  didn't we see this on more than one star trek?
06:01: no, nevermind, it's not that one.  it's brighid's story, isn't it?
07:57: aha, "i can imagine."  "no, no, you can't."
08:14: OMFG YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.  there's fool-the-audience going on here, because elizabeth's delivery of favour she'd like to ask of you is totally wrong for someone not being manipulated like a puppet and asking THAT.  ...but do i speak too soon?  this is a family show.
10:47: they wouldn't do this! no actual making out, right?  except for where they so totally would.  and they DID.  this seems like an sg-1 plot.
11:12: i might forgive this episode if they try to take over the city or kill everyone or something.
13:21: i said i might forgive it.  if this is just the white/black and black/white man tos ep (title?), no way.
15:06: dude, reflexes don't work that way.  even if it was teyla taking over elizabeth's body, it's elizabeth's muscles.  also, it IS the black&white guys ep, sort of mashed up with that body-snatcher ep of next generation and some other stuff.
19:16: "cause i know how he thinks and i don't have the slightest clue how she thinks."  AHAHA.  i LOVE ronon.
25:36: "bloody dark ages!"  all those playing the star trek drinking game take yet another drink.
31:39: i don't think weir is meant to be canonically canadian, but she sure sounds canadian.  "you can't get out?"
34:12: "YES you--yes, you were."  AHAHAHHAHAHAH.
37:16: he's not going to tell her what to do? wow, how un-us military of him.  and also, wow, was the whole point of this episode to create both john/teyla and john/elizabeth buzz?  how irritating.

john playing with his pda in the infirmary was kind of cute.  i'm glad they went there with rodney vs. caldwell and showed some effects of the whole goa'uld thing, i'm not surprised that they went there with the john/elizabeth thing*, and i liked most of the john/teyla stuff.  also, ronon's stupidity worked for me in an endearing and slightly heartbreaking way.  carson wasn't too bad this time around, although i was bemused by the infirmary scenes where they couldn't afford any special effects so they just substituted wet noises--if they were going to do that, how about skipping the operation entirely, since it was kinda superfluous?  although for once, it doesn't look like they had to squeeeeze all the cuts on.  perhaps for once they were a little short of plot to fill the whole period.

*well, the on-screen kiss, i was a little surprised by THAT.

completely OT: the girl who plays lucy in narnia seems, to me, to bear a slight resemblance to tori.
