gah!

i demand to be entertained.

of course, i could always write my essay. --eh, no. essay at midnight is a bad idea. starting it, that is--not finishing it.

i had this great idea for the short story. and i just realized, three scenes and four pages in, that i haven't thought about the end beyond "happy." did briefly consider, then discard, the idea of an unhappy ending. maybe some other fandom, but cannot do it to kirk and spock. so many people have already done it poorly. and then there must be at least one (though i can't think of one, offhand) who's done a good job.
