it's one and i haven't studied for greek tomorrow. instead i'm redoing my journal. new background image to go with new default icon and now must change the rest of the colors to match both. what is with girls with wings? i mean, do i actually wish i had wings? no. i just choose them for my default icons. i dunno, something fishy... o_O

a) why the color labels, in generator, aren't where they say they are? like. the background is an accent and the blocks are background?

b) why i told my journal to use a background image, and... and... it did this. evil thing where there is no background in between the generator blocks.

i veeeery cleverly didn't study for the greek at 10 am today last night. was admirably distracted by hollsk and the colors/layout of my livejournal. and shakira for purposes of icon-making. then i got up at 8:00 instead of 7 or 6, another clever move, and have been lj'ing instead of studying, which, in fact, i'm STILL doing. someone hit me. please?

if i fail another greek quiz, it's not a big deal.at least that's what i thought last night. am now feeling need to repeat. over and over again. only in my head, of course; i shall spare you, for the most part.

the test is over. probably a c or a d. after it, instead of paying attention, i relieved myself by inventing a pretty curlicue-filled version of the secret code that the coolest jennifer on earth and i invented together in sixth grade. so that means the rest of today looks like--

yeah, not really. just felt like typing that.

american sign language is really, really cool. it sounds nearly impossible to learn for a non-native speaker, which might mean i won't be able to study much about it in my linguistics stuff. maybe read some more, though. hmmm.

i took a long shower to make myself feel better, and it worked, even after i was forced to have too-cakey pancakes from a mix with too-gelatinous lukewarm baked apples on them for lunch (of course i topped this off with yet more buttered raisin bread)! yayayay!

arwen plot bunnies are biting hard, but they're not making themselves clear. what exactly wants to be written? i was going to move on to original fiction.

and not, of course, until the end of the semester for any of this.

i'm just really clumsy, apparently. as well as having bad luck. witness all the things currently wrong with me. (tmi? you decide.)

» eye infection, showing up as tiny lumps on my eyelid. put on hot compresses. before that they were fine. now they itch like a motherfucker, in little stabs with red-hot needles, only needles of itch, not of pain
» nasty dry air. lips cracking apart and bleeding.
» nasty dry air #2: skin coming off around cuticles. ick.
» entirely my own fault: toenail clipped far, far too short out of carelessness, but only on one side. suspect it is really going to suck in a few weeks.
