I drew this inspirational poster after waxjism accidentally stepped in YouTube shorts and got caught against her will in the whirlpool for a few hours. She said I should share it because it's "cute" and "universal" ("No one likes YouTube shorts," she explained).

In this case she needs to put an order into a specialist nursery and she keeps getting distracted and still hasn't done it! 😂

Do it, do it! My order from a specialist nursery just came in a couple days ago and I'm delighted by it. It's a great experience, having beautiful plants show up at your door. ♥

In between finding pots for my order and potting them up, I'm thinking about the plants I sent off to someone as part of a trade, and wondering when their half of the trade will get to me, and whether I need to buy more pots for those, and many other plant-related musings!

Oh, she's not buying plants - she has too many orchids and epiphytes and we barely have room for them all. Or arguably we don't have room for them since some of them are just lying around on the floor at the moment. She needs a clear pot for one that needs to be repotted and various potting materials (we keep running out of bark chips) and we need to rig up the inside of her new glass cabinet with grow lights and some kind of webbing to hang the small climbers on.

did you know you can disable youtube shorts but it's for like a month and then it reverts and they're baaaaaack - there is no way to permanently disable them.

I think maybe you can like hide them some with various browser extensions? But I have never had any desire to click on one, although I do wish they weren't in my way.

Oh but also this wasn't something she was likely to do, it was because she started to do it and got distracted and didn't finish and the plant is sitting in a broken pot waiting for her to replace it😂
