oh, it took both hands
9 Mar 2003 03:54 pmit's about 76 outside. let's see, that's 25* C. pleasant, but hot inside. not hot enough for shorts quite yet, but after energetically scrubbing grout from between new-laid bathroom tile i may be considering it for later when we paint. the ceiling's a pale green-kissed lemon. the walls are going to be brilliant blue. there's primer all over my hands. and also, i bumped a cactus, which sounds like a perversion of the punchline to a joke, but i really did.
slept with a heating pad because my mom said i should. let's clarify that it DOES help with the back pain, but boy, did it give me weird dreams. not exactly bad ones, i suppose. and this morning i got up and completely rearranged the furniture in my room. it looks much more spacious now and is screaming for a coat of paint. not to mention the rest of the trim and wallboard. and electrical wiring. yeah.
i'm eyeing the library and kitchen and flexing my claws. good thing about being an interior designer for real: i wouldn't have to do any of the grunt work.
