can you just have your uterus removed to stop the pain? out of curiosity, here. it's not like i have any money.

i woke up at 6 and wrote three pages or so of k/s, so i feel a bit better on that front*. i think i emailed k'sal yesterday (or was it the day before)? and you sure can spend $31 fast on acrylic paint. especially considering you didn't buy any blue at all and are currently using a mixture of 87c bottles of craft paint. (ouch.)

in other news, my parents are trying to stifle me. god, i can't wait to get out of here. or, well, i mean, i don't suppose it's their conscious intent, but no amount of careful explanation does anything. or, well, some amount might. none of the amounts i have thus far tried have done anything, i should say.

* the 'not-a-loser' front

opera crashed.

ethics of deleting an email unread if it's a response to an argument and you don't want to read it?

Knowledgeable sources familiar with the forgery investigation described the faked evidence as a series of letters between Iraqi agents and officials in the central African nation of Niger. The documents had been given to the U.N. inspectors by Britain and reviewed extensively by U.S. intelligence. The forgers had made relatively crude errors that eventually gave them away -- including names and titles that did not match up with the individuals who held office at the time the letters were purportedly written, the officials said.

In case you think that maybe this was just more Blair, the president used this as 'evidence' in two speeches, as did Powell. What does US Intelligence have to say for themselves? "We fell for it." Indeed.

i'd like to completely do away with u.s. intelligence. i would say our government, but the provisos are too many. i mean, i don't want society to collapse a la lucifer's hammer. i just want to split it up into a few separate countries--i'm thinking at least four--with a very loose alliance like the EU's except for looser, and make them all straight democracies. none of this electoral college stuff. socialist government, welfare states with high taxes, strong anti-monopoly laws to keep big businesses both small and strictly separated from the government. mandated universal healthcare including prescription drugs, unbreakable protections for civil liberties, firearms outlawed.

...this is such a pleasant line of thought. i do believe i'll save some of it for later.

my uterus has consumed 1200 mg of ibuprofen in the last 10 hours and is not entirely satisfied, but tough luck. i'm very reckless to a certain point and then not at all beyond that.
