ros & guil recs from
curtangel
18 Mar 2004 04:26 pmi'd read all of these before except the last one, but couldn't find the links. so... yay. although they're none of them all that wonderful, sadly.
love and rhetoric by arrhae, pg, makes use of some stoppardish things, but she's actually made them up herself. and it deals with that pulling-meaning-out-of-a-person thing. it's shortish and rather sweet and not really out of character, though i also don't think it rings quite right.
rosencrantz and guildenstern are... very much alive, actually, by mainecoon, pg, is an alternate, slash ending of the play--last scene, approximately; makes use of stoppard's dialogue.
rosencrantz and guildenstern are united by anieve. pg. baby!ros & guil are already true to their latter form. and it's really cute. hehheh.

singin' in the rain
18 Mar 2004 06:07 pmyou know, i was thinking about it the other day, particularly when my uncle taum said 'what happens to lena?' at the end of singin' in the rain.
perhaps she ends up with zelda.
i think after she loses her job, well. how much has she put in savings? she may go into advertisement, but it won't be pretty. if she loses her house she'll crash on zelda's couch, sort of like c. z-j in intolerable cruelty.
i mean, 'thanks, zelda, you're a real pal.' 'any time, lena!' --and she almost seems to act in *zelda's* best interest a time or two, not just her own. hard to imagine someone like lena having pals, non?
