sick day by calligraphy. frodo/sam, nc-17, post quest. frodo has a sick day.

why should you read it? it's original and well-characterized. sam's teenaged angst is cute, amusing, exasperating--spot on. the imagery of frodo is incredibly evocative. (it does possibly get a little over mushy, though.)

a thousand beautiful things, a harry/draco novel by geoviki, is absorbing but in the end rather teenie. nc-17.

i have reached saturation point. all the japanese-fad stuff floating all over the place on the 'net--the japanese-insertion variety of looki'msocool!speak--has become completely irritating.

you know... ? no, nevermind. sometimes people just make me tired. it's taken me a while to reach the conclusion that any strategy but ignoring just makes you tireder.

i complimented the color of a woman's shirt today (purple) and she said, 'well, thank you. but i should really be wearing red white and blue.'

i was flabbergasted. 'what, today? no. it's only thursday.'

memorial day is monday, people. but the red white and blue shit was everywhere today at the store.
